How to Try Out Blogger's New Interface

You may have noticed that many of Google's products have been getting a face lift. Now, Blogger, the Google-owned blogging platform, is getting its makeover. Some big changes are being made. For instance, the menu options has been moved to the side instead of being positioned in a ribbon on the top, colors have been changed, and the dashboard has been redesigned.

So how do you get this new look? In the Blogger Dashboard, scroll way down to the bottom of the page and click Blogger in Draft. (Blogger in Draft is a place for you to try out some of Blogger's newest features before they are available for everyone.)

Wasn't that easy? If you decide you want to make it your default dashboard, you can click the check box on your dashboard to do so. (You can always go back to the regular dashboard by un-checking the Blogger in Draft check box)

So, what do you think of the new interface? Do you like it?

  1. Yes, it was easy and No, I don't like it. For me, the regular dashboard is graphically more pleasing. Must be because I'm old. Also, not happy with Google for no fix on the problem of commenting on blogs. I can only comment on a blog if I first tell google not to remember my account, post my comment, and then sign back in asking it to remember my account. So much for today's gripe session.
