The BikeSpike- GPS Tracking and Peace of Mind for Your Bike

I have a nice Trek bike, which I am looking forward to riding again this spring. However, I worry about leaving it in a bike rack with only a bike lock keeping my beloved ride safe. Enter the BikeSpike, a Kickstarter project seeking funding. It is a small GPS tracking unit that mounts onto the bike frame. Via the web or an Android or iPhone app, the BikeSpike allows you to monitor your bike's location and receive texts or e-mails if your bike is moved out of its "geo-fenced" location.  Currently, a pledge of $199 or more will get you a BikeSpike and a twelve month data plan.
